One of the fun things about getting your hands on “grab bags” full of stones is that, well, you never know exactly what you’re going to get.
In this video, Scott Wilkins bought a large batch of rock tumbling rough from a seller on Facebook, and found a really interesting stone mixed in with the others. He’s not quite sure what it is, so naturally, he decided to throw it in the tumbler to see what happens. How well will it do?

When I first saw the stone, I thought for sure the Chalcedony portion would polish up nicely, but I was a bit hesitant about the other material.
In the end though, I think it turned out really nice. It might not be perfect, but it’s definitely a unique stone and still very pretty all polished up!
